Mission Statement

‘We are a highly experienced health and safety consultants providing expertise to a wide range of businesses in all aspects of health and safety.  We work closely with our clients to provide bespoke health and safety services to save them time, money and stress, by finding practical ways to ensure continued compliance with current legislation’. 

Our mission is to deliver a consistent level of excellent service and customer satisfaction with safe working practices while having minimal impact on the environment. This is supported by a process of continual improvement designed to promote a safe & healthy working condition for the prevention of work-related injury or ill health. 

Our commitment to quality, health and safety and the environment is delivered by adopting an integrated approach to our management systems in line with all relevant legislation, regulations and other legal and industry requirements.  

About us

The company was founded by John Green almost 25 years ago, we began trading as a limited company in July 2014.  Since then, we have helped numerous clients to achieve their health, safety and environmental goals.  Due to our diligence and dedication to our clients and a real passion for health and safety and quality, we have worked with many of our clients since the company was founded all those years ago and continue to grow year on year.  

The company defines our core values for integrated management as: 

  • Recognition that our people are our prime asset and a focus on investment in their health, safety & environment training and ensuring the implementation of safe working practices.  

  • Consultation and involvement of the company’s employees, through one-to-one meetings, in creating our quality, health and safety, and environmental objectives and targets. 

  • Developing a partnership approach with our suppliers, sub-contractors and customers to encourage them to adopt products and services with a focus on quality, safety and environmental objectives. 

  • Monitoring the service, we provide to our customers through feedback and internal audits. 

  • Measuring our performance and analysing the results over a period of time to identify opportunities for improvement.  

  • Review the company’s activities and operations in order to identify/evaluate environmental aspects and impacts and subsequently undertake actions to address them. 

  • Investigating all accidents, near misses and incidents affecting safety or the environment to apply preventive actions. 

Our Team

We currently have seven staff members on our team to help assist both new and existing clients.  There are two directors of the company – John Green (Managing Director) and Victoria Jessop (Director).  All consultants hold relevant health and safety qualifications (NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum) and are committed to continuing professional development.  

We are members of professional accredited bodies including RoSPA, IOSH, IIRSM, FISM and RISQS.  

Services

We offer a range of services to manage all elements of your business compliance. Clients can choose from one of our retained health and safety packages which offer differing levels of support dependant on the specific needs of the business.  We work either as the clients’ health and safety department or as a support to an existing team within the business.

  • 24 hr telephone and email support from competent consultant. 

  • Health and safety documentation (policies and procedures) 

  • Completion of risk assessments and method statements/safe systems of work 

  • Development and implementation of health and safety, environmental and quality management systems 

  • Fire risk assessments  

  • DSEAR Assessments  

  • Auditing and identification of areas for improvement  

  • Hazard and risk identification 

  • Investigation of accidents/incidents 

  • CDM services (including Principal Designer role). 

  • Site inspections  

  • Assistance with PQQs and SSIP Accreditations  

  • In-house health and safety support 

  • Face Fit Testing  

  • Food hygiene  

  • Training – in-house or eLearning
